Murdoch Matheson specializes in listing and selling Estate homes, equestrian and working farms, land and country properties throughout Virginia, with a focus on Charlottesville and Albemarle County. Murdoch is extremely active in the surrounding counties of Orange, Madison, Louisa, Nelson, Fluvanna Amherst, and Waynesboro. A native of The Plains, Virginia Murdoch also considers the counties of Fauquier, Loudoun, Clarke, and Rappahannock and areas of the Chesapeake Bay within his purview.
Raised on a horse farm in the The Plains, VA, Murdoch is inherently familiar with the responsibilities of land ownership and stewardship required for country living in Virginia. A graduate of Episcopal High School and Denison University, Murdoch has worked in every capacity in a Virginia farm environment. While The Real Estate business has always been a part of his life, his success in a short career has been a result of hard work, critical information to benefit clients, professionalism and strategic thinking that combine in facilitating successful transactions.
10 years as a Charlottesville resident, living in the county and in the city, Murdoch now calls the Charlottesville area home, and lives there with his wife and three children.
